The tour currently contains over 600 images. You may notice a mix of small, low-resolution images and larger, high-quality images. Pictures that looked great in a web browser in 1997 no longer meet the expectations of today, especially as screen resolutions and sizes have been increasing substantially. Of course, if you do not have a broadband connection, you may have to wait a while for all of the images on each page to load.
This tour is a constant work in progress. I've put a lot of time into creating this virtual tour, and because of the many positive comments I've received I've continued to add to it as much as time will allow and with whatever relevant information is avaible to me. If you have any information you would like added or if you have any photos you could offer, please let me know. I would especially like to thank my father, Richard Hanauer, as well as my online friend (we've met once in person) Chuck Rudy, both of whom have provided me with fantastic photos to include on this site. When I have wanted a certain image but have not been able to get it myself, they have gone out of their way to shoot one for me.
Everything in this tour is true to the best of my knowledge. If there are errors please bring them to my attention. One aspect that often surprises visitors to this site is that I don't actualy live in Bucks County. I grew up there but moved away over 15 years ago. I still go back often to visit my family. I feel that this gives me a unique perspective on the changes going on there, as it allows me to observe things from the perspective of an "outsider", albeit an outsider who has a keen interest in the unique character of Bucks County and a vivid memory of how things have changed over the years.
