| Biography: |
Bill Kibbel is a second generation oil painter. He grew up just across the river from Bucks County, PA not far from Washington's Crossing. After attending schools in Virginia and Ohio, and exploring the UK, he returned to the area and settled in historic Fallsington, a 300 year-old Quaker village in lower Bucks. Living in a home built in 1690, Bill became quite involved in historic building preservation. Historic buildings, 18th and 19th century farms and local history are reflected in his paintings of Bucks County scenes. Bill recently moved to Pleasant Valley in upper Bucks County, one of the few preserved rural areas remaining in the county. -- September 2008 |
